DataVaultAlliance Holdings LLC is committed to making the Defensible Analytics Control Specification website at dacs.datavaultalliance.com accessible to the broadest practical audience, including people with disabilities.
Our accessibility goal
Our goal is to design, develop, and maintain the DACS Site in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
The DACS Site has not yet undergone a complete independent conformance audit. We therefore do not claim that every page, document, feature, or third-party component fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We are working toward that goal and will address confirmed barriers as the site and its content develop.
Measures we take
Our accessibility work includes efforts to:
- use clear heading structures, readable content, and meaningful link text;
- support keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus;
- maintain usable color contrast in both light and dark display modes;
- provide text alternatives for meaningful images;
- label forms and provide understandable instructions and error messages;
- support zoom, text resizing, and responsive layouts on mobile and desktop devices;
- avoid relying on color alone to communicate meaning;
- review new templates, forms, documents, and interactive features for accessibility; and
- remediate reported barriers and improve our practices over time.
The site primarily relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA. It is designed for use with current versions of major browsers and commonly used assistive technologies. Results can vary across browser, operating-system, device, and assistive-technology combinations.
Documents and third-party content
Some DACS materials may be provided as PDF or other downloadable documents. Some older documents, complex technical tables, diagrams, videos, embedded services, or third-party content may not yet provide the same level of accessibility as the main website.
Third-party destinations—including DataVaultAlliance.com, DVAUniversity.com, DVAUnited.com, Authorized Training Organization sites, video platforms, and event services—are controlled by their respective operators and may have separate accessibility practices.
If a DACS document or feature is difficult for you to use, contact us. We will make a reasonable effort to provide the information in an accessible alternative format or to identify another practical way for you to access it.
Known limitations and ongoing improvement
Because the DACS Site and its document library are still being developed, accessibility limitations may be discovered as new content and features are introduced. Areas requiring particular attention may include:
- accessibility and reading order in PDF documents;
- text alternatives for complex diagrams and data illustrations;
- captions or transcripts for recorded and live video;
- keyboard and screen-reader behavior in third-party forms, consent controls, embeds, and event tools; and
- contrast or component behavior across light and dark display modes.
Listing an area here does not mean every item in that area is inaccessible. It identifies content we intend to review and improve. We also welcome reports of barriers not listed here.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need a DACS resource in another format, or have suggestions for improving access, please contact us:

To help us investigate, please include, when practical:
- the web address or name of the page, document, or feature;
- a brief description of the problem;
- the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using; and
- the format or accommodation that would be most useful to you.
We will review accessibility feedback and work toward a practical response. The time needed to resolve an issue may depend on its complexity and whether a third-party service is involved.
Assessment and review
Our current approach is internal review during design, content creation, and site maintenance, together with feedback from users. We intend to update this statement as our evaluation methods, known limitations, or conformance status change. The statement should be reviewed at least annually and after material redesigns or major new functionality.
This statement applies to the DACS Site at dacs.datavaultalliance.com. It does not make claims for independently operated websites linked from the DACS Site.
